ONE-DAY DIRECTING ACTORS WORKSHOP with Ian Hughes
DEGNZ invites you to apply for a one-day Directing Actors Workshop with highly experienced actor and director Ian Hughes.
Ian is a well-known actor (Topless Women Talk About Their Lives, Shortland Street, Go Girls, Xena, City Life, Lord of the Rings) who has worked with many of New Zealand’s directors and turned his hand to directing (Shortland Street, Step Dave).
Ian will employ his vast experience in this workshop to help increase director confidence and to explore a range of principles, tools and techniques that will address issues that arise in casting, rehearsal and shooting
The workshop has ten places and is aimed at directors developing projects for Fresh Shorts, Premiere Pathways, or with features in funded development.

- A maximum one-page letter stating why you wish to attend.
- A CV & filmography
- Links to examples of your work

Decisions regarding successful applicants will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
