The trailer for Marlon Williams: Ngā Ao E Rua – Two Worlds is out now!
The documentary, edited by DEGANZ member Josh Yong and directed by Incubator alum Ursula Grace-Williams, is an intimate portrait of the musician as he records his first te reo Māori album, Te Whare Tīwekaweka.
The film gives audiences insight into William’s creative process and the personal challenges he faced while working on his most ambitious project yet. Filmed across four years, the feature doco weaves together his different worlds of touring overseas, recording the album and living in his hometown Ōhinehou.
Marlon Williams: Ngā Ao E Rua – Two Worlds will be in cinemas 1 May.
